AddisCoder X is a free online coding camp for high school students in Ethiopia.

AddisCoder X was founded by Amdebirhan W. Abebe, Amelake Bekalu, and Amanual Chane, three graduates of the AddisCoder summer coding camp. They were inspired to start AddisCoder X after attending the camp. They were impressed by the camp's curriculum and its impact on students' lives. They saw that coding could be a powerful tool for empowering young people and helping them to succeed in the 21st century economy.

AddisCoder X uses the same curriculum as the original AddisCoder camp. This ensures that students receive high-quality instruction and that they have the opportunity to learn the same skills and knowledge. AddisCoder X also offers a supportive and collaborative learning environment, where students can work together on projects and get help from their instructors and peers.

Amdebirhan, Amelake, and Amanual's vision for AddisCoder X is to make the original AddisCoder programs available online for students all over Ethiopia and to give the original AddisCoder Experience online . They believe that this will make coding education more accessible to young people from all backgrounds. They also believe that it will help to level the playing field and give everyone a chance to succeed in the digital economy.

In addition to the regular curriculum, AddisCoder X also invites the original AddisCoder TAs to give speeches to the students. This allows the students to learn from experienced professionals and to get their advice on how to succeed in the tech industry.
